Summary: When they aren't the subject of internet memes about a rather awesome Mike Myers-voiced character, ogres are a nice go-to when giants and trolls aren't doing it for you. And lucky for us, this town is cursed with one. A big one.

History: In the countryside of Pennsylvania, there is a town that remains unchanged since the 19th century. As it turns out, it's perpetually stuck in time due to a curse. You see, during a particularly desperate time in the town's history, they cast a spell that got rid of a plague...only for the plague to manifest in the form of a monstrous ogre. Now, they have to sacrifice someone each year to keep it satiated. It doesn't look like it's going to get any better when some modern teens show up.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Through the use of a magical amulet, one of the teens manages to confront and banish the ogre from existence by knocking it outside of the town's border, causing it to explode in a fury of light. The rest of the town is finally free from the curse afterwards, and dissipates into the afterlife.

Powers/Abilities: Apparently, the ogre is connected to the curse that keeps the town alive forever.

Weakness: Conventional means hurt it, but mystical artifacts hold the key to defeating it. Also, like everyone else in the town, it will die if it steps over the invisible barrier of the place.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-Sure, it's a very ugly glutton of a beast, but damn, that CGI is bad. Ol' chubsy here isn't exactly doing himself any favors when he moves with all the grace of a mocap guy who spent 3 years eating nothing but fast food. What we're saying is that he's almost funny looking. Scars and horrific appetite notwithstanding.

Trivia: -The ogre's name is derived from the name of an Etruscan God known as Orcus. He was a God of the underworld and punishment, and was known for his appetite for human flesh.

-In one of the earliest works featuring ogres, "Perceval ou le Conte du Graal", they are described as the savage residents of Britain before the place got occupied by humans.
